Blood Lines

The number one marbling bull is Fukutsuru 068. He was imported from Japan and is currently the number one sire for marbling in the US.  He is the genetic base for many American Kobe Beef programs. Our female full bloods have come from Michifuku and Sanjirou which have overall better maternal characteristics to breed with the 068 line.

Our most recent addition is a young bull out of Itozurudoi TFISI. There are high hopes within the breed that this bull will prove to supply maternal marbling and large frame characteristics.  Since the genetic basis of the breed is so narrow due to few originating numbers, we hope using these three lines will take the best characteristics, broaden the base and improve overall animals when crossed with well-marbled Angus traits.
